Kalamafka & Capilla de Timios Stavros

Kalamafka es un atractivo pueblo en las montañas cerca de Ierapetra en el sureste de Creta.. La capilla de Timios Stavros, que se encuentra en la cima de la colina Kastelos, es una de las razones para visitar. Hay un poco de subida, arriba 224 pasos, pero la vista vale la pena el esfuerzo.

There is a cafe at the bottom of the steps, set in an attractive paved square. Kalamafka also has some pretty old houses and 2 churches.
